So two pages later, the answer to the original question is:

1. You can physically remove your mirrors if you have the tools.
2. The law says you need at least one to ride legally on the street.

It's unclear whether a Reevu helmet would qualify or not.

I removed the stock mirrors on my Trumpy and replaced them with the CRG Hindsight LS adjustable bar end mirrors.

They look awesome, cleaned up my front fairing and I can now actually see the road and traffic behind me instead of my fucking shoulders...
