i think i paid either 120 or a 140 dollars just to get the plate, then you pay an additional 20 dollars a year to keep that plate. you must have the bike insured all the time to keep the plate. so if you cancel yer insurance, say like over winter for storage, or you decide not to insure the bike for a while. your digits become fair game to anyone else who decides to run those letters /numbers.
