Hi guys, which website has the most updated road condition for cypress and seymour mountains? Snow? ice? etc.

Not sure if it has snowed and bike-able on the mountains.

You could always fix a snowplow to the front of your bike and go up

is snow really that scary? never tried it yet..... i mean if i go 60km/h on turning should be alrite?

its actually not at all scarey while it is snowing, as Dat at PRS will tell you, you can go as fast as you do regularly, its just that every move has got to be calculated ten moves in advance... me n' my dad covered over seven hun. kliks in a mixture of snow, sludge, rain, fogg, softball size hail storm first day back from Denver, Col... once we got over the fact that we could see worth shite, guiding yourself by the river in middle of lane, riding p1 we were fine.. we actually managed to avg 130 kph between gas stops in that damn stuff a couple of times.. which is exactly what we did when dry and sunny... turns were easy if you dont count the boogey man in the back or yer head whispering "dont fall, dont fall, please, please, dont fall!!":rockon

mind you, once it stops snowing, you're pretty screwed!! you cant ride too far cause you freeze yer nutts off, and never mind about black ice!! that is def scarey as all hell, i have to admit i felt my rear spin a couple times mid corner, somehow managed to stay balanced though :)

I see, thanks, better stay off the mountains for now then.

Just went to Squamish and back. Road condition is okay, except for the fact that it's wet due to the light rain (duh!) haha. Riding in the rain is kinda fun, but it was freeeeezing cold and my hands were both purple!

Seymour was wet and snow on the sides of the road at Mushroom parking lot sweeper. slush on the road started just past the lookout. past that, cages are the best mode of transport to the top unless bike not so important. Parking lot has about 3" and snowing/rain/slush mix coming down.
