Stock BMW alarm.

Comes with a smart chip in the key, like many new cars. Bike will never start without the key chip, no matter what. If anyone steals it, the best they can hope for is parts. And I'm insured up the tits.

I've got the basic alarm with tilt sensor. It's pretty much useless unless you're within earshot away if it goes off. I really only got it so that I can play with the fob and make it chirp at Starbucks.

A pager alarm from Gorilla. I bought it for peace of mind as I went on a ride down the Oregon coast. This eased my mind each night at hotels and such. Still set it at home as she rests in a detatched shed, all sbout peace of mind.

Anyone here get a discount from ICBC due to the instalation of one? I believe cages get a discount for that. I havent calle dto ask yet but was jsut thinking about that.

Talon alarm. I got it more to keep people off my bike when it's out of sight at a Starbucks or something.

It's not really necessary otherwise... home is a secure alarmed garage and work is within continous sight of cameras, a parking attendant and/or security guard. Regardless, insurance covers loss... the alarm just deters the throttle twisters.

lol..i dont have alarm on my bike.....coz im too poor ....:surrender
Looks like you're too poor for a bike, is that a toilet you're riding? lol.

No alarm for me. It's either at home, or at home, so my dog guards it.... my cat is vicious too so that is double security.

I got no problem with someone jacking my bike ... that's why I have overpriced insurance ...
No lock, no alarm, no garage ... just a cover to protect it from the rain.
