Other then Graham, who else does custom mapping in the lower mainland tht anyone can recommend ? cheers
Correct, Future Cycle has a Dynojet. A full dyno tune will you run $600 there, and will take about 8 hours or so to complete. They do mostly Harleys and choppers, I felt sort of outta place going there. :laughingI think House of Speed next door to Fifth Gear is a certified Dynojet facility....
Ya I know but he is a certified by way of the Dynojet website.......Correct, Future Cycle has a Dynojet. A full dyno tune will you run $600 there, and will take about 8 hours or so to complete. They do mostly Harleys and choppers, I felt sort of outta place going there. :laughing
Makes sence....to passkiss emissions and also your tach is about 600-800 rpm lower than with the timing light! safety marging ( warranty). Also valid for cars.Is it true that from the manufacture they set the bikes up to run fairly lean below around 6,000rpm to make governments happy with emissions?
Is that why a lot of people re-map they're stock ecu's?
I took My 954 to MIKE VALESCO in Bremmerton , And some of the Guy's I ride with Went there as well , He Charges $250.00 US It Takes around three Hours to do the Map and He Does an Excellent Job , He Uses a Dyno Jet And a Gas Analyiser. He Has a Real Pro set up in his Shop it is Clean and properly Vented . He specializes in Sport Bike And race bike Tuneing.Dyno tuning isn't where I would want to cheap out. If it were me I would go to Graham, MAS or Mike Valesco in the US.
Even tweaking it for our conditions still will not give you the best map. Every bike is different. Even if you took two 600rr's, same mods, same year, same mileage, everything...the maps would be quite different. Using this map as a base is a good start. I am using, for now, a map off the Dynojet website, all last season I tweaked out the lean and rich spots the best I could. I'll be getting it on the dyno at some point before the season starts. Good luck with it!thx for the replies guys..prob would be Graham or MAS, a buddy sent me Stage 1 map frm Crescent Suzuki in UK, my bike is set up basically similarly so want to upload it and then fine tune it re. atmospheric and local conditons![]()
