I wish I could get Termigoni's.. dual Termigoni's.. but then I'd have to have a Duc to put them on. :D

I don't know about you, but I think the Yosh is probably the cleanest sounding pipe I've heard on a gixxer.

I have a yosh bolt on on my gixxer. It sounds pretty clean, but the zuk's are already loud. My cousin has the yosh full system highmount on his zuk and it sounds about the same as my bolt on.

the only slip on for our bikes are from MIG. They are high mount and I think you can get them at eurobikes. You're welcome to check out my slip on if you want. Just pm me or post here.

i've seen and heard the yosh's.... atomelowe has the carbon bolt-on one, if they spewed out flames like that one time I rode with him, then I would be sold :) :)

how do the carbon cans hold up in rain? Do they last as long as alu, and ti cans?

Well, I've got a yosh as well. I love it but I think its gotten a little louder since I bought it. Carbon Fibre with 22k on it so it may need repacking. I still think it sounds great though.

I've been contemplating a full exhaust for next year. I've pretty much spent my budget for this year on new gear. But if your interested next year, I'll give ya a good deal on it.

As far as I know theres no problem with them as fair as environment. If the carbon looks a bit dusty, just use some tire care cleaner and it shines up great. Carbon exhaust from what I understand need repacking more often then others.

BTW: I wish I saw the flames:laughing .....all I saw was flashes behind me:D .

For your bike, I would go with a Yosh Tri-Oval or a M4 High Mount. Carbon would look cool with the color scheme you have. Especially the M4 carbon sport high mount. Check it out at www.m4exhaust.com
hmmm, I dont see a high-mount slip-on for the 2001 gsxr-600 :( they have one for the 1000 though.....

After giving it some more thought, I would decide between the two I mentioned before, Yoshimura and M4 and these two: Two Brothers and Arrow. Both are probably not very common in Vancouver and both have yellow logos that would look sweet on your bike. If it was up to me, I would go with an Arrow Ti Bolt On. That would satisfy your need to be different. RMS deals Arrows so they would be your best bet. Check out the sound file on www.twobrothers.com though in the GSX-R600 category.

I think I'd just get it from RMS. I remember when I complained about the price of the Akrapovic being $899, he said he'd do $900 taxes in. So I'm sure they'll work something similar out on the Arrow.

And I think the arrow's are sweet cans. They've actually got an F4i (or F4, I can't remember) with an arrow can outside right now if you want to hear it - I'm sure they'd fire her up for ya.

Geez guys, at these prices I suspect you're better off going south and mail ordering. Even with the crappy dollar just now I suspect you can get them cheaper overall. Mail order price plus shipping times 1.6. Take that result and add 12% for duty and GST I think it is.

Actually Bruce, I'm finding more and more that it's not worth going south. It's very expensive because of our dollar - so unless you can 'gift' it across the border, your hooped on taxes and/or duty.

Ya, let's keep our hard earned, high taxed dollars in Canada:)

My fav for exhausts for each make would be:
Akrapovic = Yamaha
Akrapovic = Kawasaki
Yoshimura = Suzuki
Moriwaki = Honda
Termignoni = Ducati

Though i guess you can't really go wrong with pipes today... with the exception of Vance & Hines!

They by far are the worst quality of any manufacturer i've seen. After one track day (at PIR) the SS2R emblems ripped of the cans (on my ol 99 TL1000R)... plus the packing went south after 2-3k kms.
