ugh... the DR6 is still in the shop getting the wheels laced (YES! my 17's and spokes arrived from Cali) and my tires don't get put on 'till Tuesday... looks like i'm on the bench spectatin' this evening... :surrender
maybe i can ride as camera-man on the handlebars of Big Red's 400...

Ya, I don't think my bike would like it if the two of us were on it!!! You can ride it if you promise not to drop it, then I can do some video...

On second thought, it might not be worth it ($) to share a bike since you don't have a membership, but it's up to you. We don't get much daylight these days...

I'll ride it down, but it needs a new chain pretty bad. It's probably ok for another week or two of monotony/commuting, but I don't think it'd be too happy with me lurching out of corners - gotta get to work so I gotta make it last at least until tomorrow when I can grab a new one I'll bring my DSLR instead, maybe someone there can lend me a kickass lens since I've only got the kit lens and a 50mm.

Hmm just talked to a few buddies and they're coming too. Fan section ftw

I get every second Monday off and unfortunately I worked last Monday and it's difficult to make it out to F440 before 7:30....it's not worth wasting my membership for a couple of runs then the light starts to disappear. I will be out this upcoming monday if I can get back from the USA in time. Looks like you guys had a good time.

hi all i have a dr350, not a motard but a dual sport, mind if i join, if it is okay to join do i need to tape my lights up? are there any regulations can i wear my steal toe boots for work and my race leathers, helmet and gloves, is that suffecient? is there any form of inspection or is it you pay your $25 and you just go at it

SWEET. I've got a DR350 as well, and Im just waiting on a chain and sprockets right now from the big 5 before I go out.

Also, I only have a leather jacket and gloves, helmet and goggles... no boots or leather lowers. Scary, but it looks like too much fun to wait to be honest Dont think taping headlights is really necessary either, though it might be wise (theyre expensive) - I was going to plan on taping mine when I go.

As for the rest of the details the other guys can help you more.

No inspection, no taping of lights necessary, just wear good gear. I've gone with my mesh jacket and jeans before.
