Flip Food!!!

ok ok...so this sunday im gonna go and eat at some local flip restaurant (i dont know which one, cuz ive never been to one, so if anyone has suggestions lemme know!)...everyone and anyone is welcome! if anyone wishes to go for a ride before or after be my guest!!! im planning for maybe a lunch time thing around 12ish or 1ish...i would very much like to meet other flip riders, cuz all i know is myself, Jan, and 2 other friends...oh and my uncle...apart from flips...if uve boned a flip or have been boned...or is friends with flips or related by law...and yadda yadda yadda u are very much more than welcome! this is a weather permitting event, so if it sucks someone else can take over and i can stay at home and eat flip food for free!!!

Probably Goldilocks on broadway. Best flip food I've had I think..

Which isn't saying much - I'm not a huge fan, but there are certain dishes that are awesome. I'm really just not into stews and that seems to be a big flip-food theme... that and fish.

Josephines is also good.

There's a little hole-in-the-wall place called Cheeky Cheeky that makes halo-halo and Sagot Galumun (sp?) which isn't half bad for the prices they charge.

Cheeky is in Surrey....they serve good food and bubble tea too......:thumbup

Galing-Galing or Josephines.....haven't been to both......

im undecided as to where to go, i need a consensus! post up if anyone wants to go, or pm me for details (lack there of) or suggestions...id really like to try galing galing...(i mean they named the restaurant galing...twice, so it must be twice as good...unless someone knows of someplace thats thrice as good?)

i've tried goldilocks, galing galing and josephine's. i suggest josephine's. it's the best turo-turo filipino food around. their palabok is the best (next to my mom's)

Josephines is a smaller restaraunt, but its got a soul food atmosphere. I am sure you can all invade, and take it over for a couple of hours:evilgrin

if you are going on sunday, make sure it's before 11am or after 2pm. you wouldn't wanna be in there with the "after-church" crowd as you will have to stand in line for about 1/2 hr before you can order.

hey, i just remembered - pinpin's on fraser is a new place and it is good too but the lineups are just as long on sundays. they have a wider selection of food (including sisig - if you don't know what this is, don't ask

I sugggest NOT to go to Pinpin's. Food there Sux..BIG TIME! believe me...
The rest of them are good(Galing-galing, Josephine's and Sandy's on Main/26)
