I was going to top up the charge my battery today. I pulled the plastics off and removed the seat. Under the seat where the battery is, I noticed a bolt that holds my seat subframe to the frame totally loose. Only a couple of threads holding. The other side was tight. phhew. That could have been an interesting ride. I'm gonna check over the whole bike now before next season.
Hope no one else finds such things.

Loctite is your friend. Safety wire is great too.....

Years ago one the first day of bike ownership (dirtbike) the bolt that holds the torque arm on the rear brake fell out. End result. Distroyed my rear hub. I then rode for the next two years with out a rear brake. Made me a demon front brake rider. When life gives you lemons......

Of my of my friends with an R6 (no names mentioned) had one of those bolts missing for probably all of the summer. Short trip to cajun tire sorted that (needed it fixed fast cos we were going for a longer ride)
