OMG Hols yer a girl! That thought never occured to me!!! My bad!

I usually just put a bun at the very bottom of my helmet, just tight enough that it won't come undone, but gives it enough room to move just a bit for the helmet to sit right. And if I'm going anywhere I just take the scrunchie out and tuck my hair into a pony tail. If I feel like it I'll do a braid or two. Finger combing is usually enough.

Maybe if you put it in a bun or something after you put the helmet on? I found bandanas always slide off when you take the helmet off and then you look silly.

I'd like to get my whole head done in tiny braids (not cornrows, that looks awful on white chicks) but i dunno if they'd still fit under the helmet....

One of my asian friends never does anything with her hair and it never tangles... damn awesome asian hair...*envious*

Honestly, these are wonderful and I can't recommend them enough. I have relatively fine hair, just past my shoulders, and I am a former hairdresser (many moons ago). These solved all my hair problems. I never have knots and my hair comes out of the helmet looking just fine.

Buffs also work well....tho' I prefer them in the winter

I see things like this and they would be soooo easy to make. I wish I could sew.

I have long hair, mid way down my back. I put my jacket on, twist my hair into a low pony and tuck I down the back of my jacket, then put my helmet on. When I pull off my helmet, just shake out my hair and all is good. Bu apparently I'm fairly blessed cause my hair does what it's told, I usually don't even brush it in the morning cause I shower at night. However I did encounter massive tangles by letting it fly out the back.
