Does anybody know about these? I've got a friend starting out who found some HLD S-891 helmets going for $119- they're DOT, but so's a beanie.... Anybody have any experience or opinions? Cause I know you can get HJC's for the same price...

We have a bunch at the shop and for cheap lids there not to bad. Very comfortable and lot's of padding. I was actually very surprized how nice they are. Way better than the HJC in the same price range.

How's the noise level on these for highway riding? I find HJC tend to be a bit noisy.

There light and I'm deaf in one ear so can't help with that one , but 0.99 earplugs work great.
