I got somthing for my bike specially for the dyno day and it is gonna make my bike pull some higher than normal horsepower numbers. Human should no what I am talking about but its a secret for now. He he:D

Lets just say I did this and took my bike for a rip and I was absolutley astounded from the results. I could not believe the increase in output from the engine. I cant wait till Dyno day.:rider

How did you know ? just kidding man :laughing I will let you all in on it on dyno day after all the results. Hey CG how are you liking that TRE mod you did to your bike ? what exactly does it do again ? I forget.

you did that ram-air mod didn't ya?

the tre mod, it completely smoothed out the low end throttle below 4000rpm.... before if I try to hold a rpm in 1 or 2nd gear at around 3500, 4000rpm, the bike would go on/off/on/off/on/off, supposely it did that because the TR would shut off one of the dual butterfly valves.... they said on the gixxer.com board one of the rumors suzuki put this in is to make governments happy so the bike wont have full power in those low rpms, kinda like a safe guard.... but now, my power comes on about 1000rpm eariler, so i'm a happy camper :)

No not that. By cutting out the resonator things inside the ram air you are still getting air to most parts of the engine but not all. Those things in the ram air are essential becuase they provide air to the valves. I wont ever mess around with my ram air cause it was designed with optimum efficiency in mind so I dont think I can improve it much. If anything I would accidently reduce efficiency by modding it in any way.

not that part, umm can't remember what it was.... but I think bmatthews did it to his 9r recently?? :confused :confused

*note to self* swap plastics with AtomLowe's 750 and put that on the dyno.... hehehe muahahha heh muahhhhhaha....

You know I was actually contemplating doing that with one of the 9R's ha ha we are so devious :laughing

Oh ya, by the way my bike feels way stronger now but who knows what will happen on the dyno. All one can do is hope for the best. I will be happy if I can get over 102 horsepower. That is kinda my goal.

I would have chosen a 12r instead hahaha :) :laughing :laughing

what the??? 160hp at the wheel from a 600 :laughing :laughing that would have everybody puzzled :)

I'm hoping for 97 or higher.... my best guess is i'll hit somewhere between 97-103 peak power.... I managed 102 last jan, but different dynos different days soooo....

Ryan's actually got Adam's R6 in sight for the duel.....CG you are all mine....:D:D:D:D

Ryan I am actually not going to do that mod you just did, I am also going to put the stock exhaust can on as well for atleast one of the runs....see if I will be able to find out the diffference the can's make.....any slip on for the Kawi's will make a difference as our stock one's have a catalytic convertor in there so figure the slips on will have some real benefit on the 6R....how much that's what I want to know....my bike's also due for a tune up...I just hope they measure torque becasue that's where the 6Rs are really going to hurt the suz.


CG we still on for our holeshot challenge ?

yeah yeah, my stock beat up dirty bike vs your piped jetted clean finely tuned bike with your so called secret trick it'll be close :) even with the pipe :)

The dyno day is on Saturday April 13th ;) but make sure and confirm that you are going by replying to the thread in the event section.

Damn, don't know if my new pipe will be here by then. Oh well at least I can get a stock reading I guess.

best answer to all your problems....Get a V-twin..slap some aftermarket pipes..jet it..K&N it..there U have it..simple.
All the power U need.!:D
