Wth? I came here looking for a method of fixing the dent in the tubing of a buddy's Arrow pipe on his Ducati 996. So what's this thread really all about?

My machinist can fix a lot of dented pipes...he's fixed a lot of mid pipes for me, he is out in Langley

Yeah, my 300 does not need more HP to ride McNutt... but throttle response is pretty key for wheeling into splats. Pipe was dented, it was bogging, so I tried it. Worked like a charm. Since the bike never sees WOT for more than one or two seconds, should be ok.

If I was going fire roading I would have to put it back of course.

Good trick... does it work on a 4 stroke pipe?
No, four strokes are not as sensitive to jetting. Super dented pipe on a four stroke just runs, albeit down on power.

Two stokes lose power but also bog, or mine did. Fixed.
