Hey guys and girls, how many of you have ever had to deal with traffic cops? How many of you want to know how to deal with them to your benefit?
I've been fed up with the system for a long time, so I took it upon myself to start studying the legal system on my own time. I've learned a whole lot of shit that I would have never thought was real. The only way to come out ahead when dealing with the legal system is by knowing what they're doing.
We're deliberately misled so that we can be controlled.
It's not that hard to understand the things that will help you, you just have to want to do it. The legal system is literally just like a game of monopoly, you just need to know how the game works.
If anyone needs help/advice with speeding tickets, traffic violations, other legal problems, let me know, and I'll do what I can for you.
Here's a video you should watch, it'll give you an introduction to what I'm talking about.

The guy presenting the information is from the Vancouver area, and he knows alot. If anyone is interested in more info or whatever, just let me know. It's about bloody time we give the power back to the regular people.

If that guy has something really intelligent to say, I wish he'd update his website (www.thinkfree.ca), ditch the Flash interface, and just let me read some straightforward text docs. Until then he's just another quack.

In the past I've done a little digging into similar stuff like de-taxing, and I always end up by throwing my hands in the air and screaming "SCREW THIS!!!!" because these kind of people can't express their ideas without sounding like cult-leader wannabes.

IF YOU HAVE A GOOD IDEA THEN PRESENT IT APPROPRIATELY SUCH THAT ITS MERIT IS SUPPORTED SIMPLY BY FACT.

If you have to give a song and dance, or offer conspiracy theories, or if I have to work too hard to understand you because you can't communicate simply/appropriately then I won't waste my time. :banghead

Which sucks because we can all gain a lot of personal power simply by being aware of the law.
The way to come out ahead in our legal system is to be guilty as the punishments you'll get are so miniscule compared to the actual crimes.
Gordo is right that video is tedious. Ponderously sloooooooooow in presentation.

There are a few knowledgeable people who frequent this forum that know the law backwards & forwards as it pertains to motorcycle and vehicle related stuff.

If you are interested Disasterbox have a look with search. Lots to learn here.
right on, that's good to know guys, thanks! I've been doing this for 2 or 3 years, so I've still got lots to learn. Gordopolis, I know thinkfree is a slow and broken site, but it does have some good info, and some of the linked sites are pretty good. I'm not trying to say I've found the answer to everything, I'm just trying to keep spreading the information that I'm coming across. I get bloody frustrated trying to get to the bottom of all this too, but giving up doesn't get you any further. I'm just doing what I can.
He has to act like that...the black helicopters are following him and his tin hat is not fitting properly.
While it seems to me that his theories are a little far fetched and I've never personally heard any reports of anything he said actually working or being true, there IS something to be said for taking it upon yourself to understand our laws to the point where they can't be wrongfully used against us.

I had an incident where a cop was sitting on the side of the road trying to give speeding tickets to people (myself included) for doing 50km/h in a school zone at 6:30 AM.

While this was obvious to me, it may not have been obvious to someone else, and he would have gotten away with wrongfully issuing a speeding ticket to someone.
Dispute everything, win or lose you learn the legal system. There is no way to win if you don't know how the system works. As long as you don't mind looking like a dick in court for having no real defence then you can only gain from the experiance.
Fight 'em all! The only way; make the man work for it!

Make the man work for it! Sounds like a plan. You're pissed off at the cop so you dispute the ticket. Cop is on his days off so he gets paid overtime to see you in court. Wow. That's actually a bonus....for the cop. He keeps his bosses happy with the stats, and YOU keep him happy by allowing him to make lots and lots of overtime!!! :laughing

By the way, how much of a cut are you taking from the cops for promoting this action plan???
So has anyone tried asking the cop for the 'original copy' of the ticket without signing it, so to not 'dishonour' the 'bill of sale' - as per his advice in the video posted above?
The BC Civil Liberties Association website looks like it may be a good information source for "dealing with the man".

OK stundion. Listen carefully. The problem is systemic, higher than you or the cop. By increasing the cost of getting the money out of you they realize that it's not as cost effective. That would = less traffics pigs.

If they raise the fine above the average daily wage then more people would dispute. This they realize. The can't raise the fine amount, but they can reassign pigs to more important duties if they aren't making their wages and a significant profit doing BS traffic duties.

It is about money. If it wasn't don't you think they would get serious, and crack down on imcompetent drivers by making everyone do brutal roadtests every 5 years that removed imcompetent drivers?

It is all about the $$$$.

Or they could just hand out more tickets. Lord knows there's enough idiots on the road that they could easily hand them out from dawn until dusk without missing a beat.
G
i commend this guy for his good will and message... but i just cant take his arguements seriously. He sounds like a stoner trying to explain something.

+1 what gordopolis said
"IF YOU HAVE A GOOD IDEA THEN PRESENT IT APPROPRIATELY SUCH THAT ITS MERIT IS SUPPORTED SIMPLY BY FACT."

this guy is talking about sliders... monkeys that chuck dumplings... raincoats... smoke and mirrors? Fuck, use real examples at least... this guy is dumbing it down WAY too much like he's talking to a child.

Still, i kno hez got a good message... but why must he rant like a drunken bum???
We're deliberately misled so that we can be controlled.
Lol....yeah....that's exactly what's happening. There's nothing else going on like trying to reduce accidents which cost lives, increased insurance costs etc.

It's all about controlling us....
