Hybrid motorbike sounds complicated and why would they say pure electric won't work for most enthusiasts?
I'd love to have a pure electric motorcycle but most are sport styles and very expensive.
I bought a 2000 watt kick scooter last fall and fell in love with it. Torque, torque, and more torque. 0 to 60kph in the blink of an eye. Dangerous as hell but hey, isn't that what we love in sportbikes.

I’ve had decent seat time on a few full electric motorcycles. Brammo S. 2 of Zero models. Yeah, torque, especially the Brammo which does NOT have a safety power limiting system at slow speed.
The price alone makes me never to be a player, and of course the range problem of battery power is 5 fold worse as bikes can’t possibly carry the % size battery that a floor pan of a car is able to. Range will always be completely unacceptable with electric. Hydrogen is the only option for bikes away from gasoline.
