As I'm interested in having my (new to me) bike appraised to determine my realistic value of my purchase.

Rare to find a clean one these days. It really depends if there's someone out there that wants one as it's a rare buyer that wants the TLR as well. I'd say $6500-$7000. :2cents

The dollar value is irrelevent though. It's a great bike and loads of fun. Just enjoy it and keep it nice.

Looks like the one from a few years back that was for sale that had orange highlights on it and silver in the belly.

Absolutely not his.

There's only been 2 owners, one put on about 5 k
and the other one put on about 10 k
fortunatly the chicken strips were about as big as wide as... well there's lots of life on the sides and a nice flat spot in the middle.

Your new black beast is a sexy tiller, but since you have already sat in the saddle, I would only put a value of 5 bucks on it:laughing
