Looks like a weird knockoff of the ZTL from Buehl.

(Although he says it about everything) Crev said the brakes on the XBRR were trash. I doubt this would be much better.

This may be a stupid question, but....how do you change the rotor?
hopefully they are rebuild able buttons, and it looks like the outer wheel halves are bolted on to the rim I'm sure he thought of that ,otherwise ,,I'm sure you could buy another set.lol

So are those 2 sets of 2 piston front brakes? or 2 sets of 4 mini pistons?

Also, with this placement, I wonder how the centrifugal force would change - since it's more centralized and all. Any ideas?

Does this compromise the integrity of the wheel at all? I would feel like a "bolted together" wheel just wouldn't be as robust as a regular one-piece. But what the hell do I know about wheels? Nothing.
First lesson on wheels.....

.....They are usually round.

i beleive three piece wheels are lighter and stronger than forged or otherwise wheels. i know for cars the most expensive and lightweight performance wheels are all 3 peice bolted together. assembled built and designed right they outperform most other wheels. i think its kinda neat but seems like a hassle. unless there is some major performance benefit (as if sport bike brakes arent good enough) they are jsut for the "cool" factor in my eyes

From what I can tell they've gone through a lot of trouble to bring some symmetry to an old concept. I like it but would prefer ceramic brakes on carbon wheels if it's all about overkill. Interesting to see continental tires on race bikes.
