Yes it was pretty much straight roads, but got to hit redline on more than one occasion :)

though at the end of the ride when we parted, Canada Way is full of a few nice set of high-speed twisties just before beta ave :) surprisingly little traffic on it, or it could have been that I was blowing by it all hehehe :)

either way, i'm dying for a nice set of curves.... arrgghhh, must find twisty roads..... must find twisty roads....

Glad to hear you guys had a good ride.. I'm stuck at home with a bad case of the flu.. (Teresa loves to share everything.. :p)

I love the tunnel, I go through it everyday to work and never get bored of hearing my exhaust.. I'll challenge you to an exhaust shootout in the tunnel.. Who has the louder pipes? ;)

Jim.
you'd still win without the tunnel while everybody else used it :)

And by the way Bruce and Mike, thanks for you patience while I puked at BK! I wish i could have stayed longer but had to do my rrsp's today 'cause the deadline is Friday.
BTW, it only took me about 30-35 mins to get back to West Van, and I wasn't even going that fast!
30-35 mins, that sounds about right, all highway and traffic was very light....

have you been reving your baby up high yet? :) I see you were taking it easy yesterday on the straights.... I was the same way when I got my bike, I didn't want to rev her up high, but now I rev the beeeaattchh :)
