Does anyone know of any courses to teach basic welding skills? I have no use or need to do professionally but I would love to learn the basics.

I believe BCIT has night time basic welding courses in their class book, and on line....I took my training there, really nice shop from what I remember....

BCIT, they've got their night school calendars online. They also do basic mill and lathe courses as well. Good times.

You have any experience at all?

Its just like anything if you prep it really well and think it out it wil be a 10+
If you do it fast and botchy it will be a hack job...

kms tools has basic welding classes regularly for about $45 a class.

I have zero experience, nada! I'm interested in learning as I have a well rounded set of general life skills and would like to add welding to the mix.
