Would any of you guys know where to start looking to find a 1983 Yamaha SRX 400 Vintage Cafe Racer. I saw one of these a while back on craigslist for a decent price and seen as how I haven't ridden a bike in a couple years I figured this little number would be pretty sweet to start back up on.

Cause I'm pretty certain I would kill myself with a psychotic-6 or more, hahaha.

Thanks in advance.

Don't pass up on the later model SRX 600 singles as well. Still not a bad bike to get back into the sport with.

In fact if you've got the inseam for it there's some great deals to be had on current left over '06 Suzuki DR650 dual sports. With a bit of suspension tuning and some street rubber to replace the semi knobbies these make a sweet n' easy motard.

Yeh!! She's a pretty cool looking machine for an older model hey? Tee Tee, so let me get this straight. Are you saying these cam in exactely the same style of bike came with a 600cc engine? Like, if you were to put the SRX 600 beside the SRX 400 the farings, frame, body panels, lights, etc would be exactely the same?

If so that's a definate option as well, more so then the idea of a 400. The extra power from the 600cc as opposed to the 400 would be AWESOME!!! I don't have alot of experience with searching for these types of bikes as they aren't your regular bike (hence it being a grey bike).

The only place I can recall having grey bikes was just off of commercial and hastings and now I don't think they sell grey bikes anymore. I believe it's now a YAMAHA dealership that only deals with domestic manufactured spec bikes.

In any case, if you guys can give me a hand with finding the best places to look (bang for buck) for an SRX 400 or 600, it would be greatly appreciated.
