Loud pipe sure saves lives somewhere on the open road except in in the middle of a concrete forest where the sound waves has nowhere to go and especially not praised in any sleepy retirement communities when rider comes home after midnight. Throw in hard of hearing risks, this individual freedom/liberty becomes a hazard to the public. It would work if that sound can be switched on/off at will.

When they do the dB testing, is dB measured at idle or revved to specified RPM on particular bike?

Also, how would one ride respectfully if they had to ride uphill in/out of their driveway?

So if someone were to modify the alleged illegal mod (pipe) to be quieter than its unpopular (maybe offensive) name, then how would it be legally/objectively measured?

Is that the idea?
