I just got back from a grocery trip from superstore and had a look through the toy section and they have a new shipment of 1/12 and 1/24 scale motorcyles. I got a Ducati 998 for $20.00. There are nem R1's, Kawi's, Repsol's, etc even some cruisers and bmw's if you want. Some are in kit form others pre assembled. The detail is good for $20.00. they are similar to the bikes all around the ceiling at the Flying Swan.

Are you still playing with toys instead of the real thing?

Just kidding oh secretive one:evil

Haha, build them yourself! Well try to one day, much more satisfaction :)
They also have 12v min Ducati 999's as well. I couldn't justify buying since Luca won't be able to use it for another 7yrs, though I was tempted :evilgrin. Being rated at 175lbs, and a hour per charge I almost considered dropping a few extra pounds and using it to run about the office :rockon
Are these model kits, or diecast?
Hey you're talking about the New Ray ones right? I bought a couple of those already, they were on sale for around $15 last time I saw them at Superstore but that was during Christmas. They are very nice for the price and great to have for collection.

If these are the New Ray ones then they are die cast model kits, you can get them assembled or assembly required. The frame, engine and most of the things are metal but the body work, handlebars etc are plastic.

here's some pics of the beauty,The superstore out here did not have all their new stock yet so I'm setting up camp in the toy section for the next week...............LOSER:laughing
Yes. Excellent. Now make the pics a little blurry and post it up for sale on Ebay with a vague description and let's see what happens.

The blinds in the second pic could easly pass for a garage door....
crap, i just went to my local superstore and they didnt seem to have em?
Sweet just picked up another one in Abby today 2005 honda repsol 1000.
Too cool. I don't suppose they would have any VFR's?

those look pretty good actually
Those pictures look so real :eek. I'm going to go check those out. Something to play with for the winter season.
Check out Winners also. I saw that Repsol one for 5bucks last week.
Just checked the Superstore at Metrotown, they don't seem to have any :(
Does anybody know the company that makes them?
i've got a Hayabusa and a ZX-10R
Just a heads up. I went to the Supastore in Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows - you now, on the Lougheed Hway, in that huge complex with the Movie Theater.

Anyways, they have a crap load of them - about 200 of them?
They're on for $4.98.

They had:
2005 CBR 1000 RR in black, in red, and also in the Repsol scheme.
Older F4s in black, in red, and silver combos.
R1 in burgundy and black.
Hayabusa silver/blue.
Kawasaki ZX9 in ugly colour.
Various dirt bikes, Honda CRF250, and some Yammi.

Make sure you take a good look at yours before you buy it, they seem to have a high incidence of paint errors/smudges/overpaint.

I'm such a geek.
