Picked up the spine protector and suit today for the track thing. NOW it's really starting to feel like I'm going to do this. Up until now it's been more like a Hollywood waitress' dream.

And for all those out there that aren't joining me I've got this here fresh shaker of salt to rub into the wounds :D :flip

Man, I have GOT to get a more powerful slave flash for this camera. Outdoors is great but more than 4 feet and the flash is little better than a candle...........

Side view...........
And this is me doing a little Walter Mitty number. Yes it's not too tight to bend this far. But the grin is largley a grimace of strain, With the spine protector sharing the accomadations with my tummy it's pretty cozy in there. Without the full length SP this would make a great touring suit.

Oh and yes I realize the gloves clash but notice the Kawasaki green wall motif so it's OK. BTW these are the gloves I got in my door prize bag for being such a nice honest guy at Sportbike West last year. Carbon yet :D
Lookin good Bruce;) Now just hope that you never have to put them to use.
Mind tellin me bruce what make the suit is and whats the retail, I am thinking of gettin the joe rocket leathers from Imperial for $700.
nice suit Bruce:) have you perfected your technique for getting in/out in less then a minute

It's last years HJC. Got the good hard armour and everything. I got it from BK. They have a few priced at $1K but if you spend enough with them then the usual discount will apply.

They sort of sold an earlier suit out from under me so they gave it to me for a little less than the sticker price. Guess it pays to keep a steady stream of my money running into their bank account :rolleyes
It's Power Ranger Bruce!! :laughing

Looking good man.. looking good.. I may come out and watch a couple of the training sessions and dream of next season.. :p

That's the easy part. Just walk into one of the club meetings and say in a quiet little whisper that you'd like to volunteer to work saftey on track and race days and all the talking in the room will crash into silence and a sea of smiling faces will be turned in your direction................

It's a great way to get involved and I firmly believe you'll learn a lot from the observation for when it's your turn to get onto the track or into the school. I know it worked this way for me when I was into car racing at Westwood.
