Hello all,
This game is open to everyone. If you have a buddy that would like to join in, feel free to bring them along. Just let me know. For the courtesy of others, make sure they know all the rules of the game and have a basic understanding of Texas Hold'em. This makes for smoother play. This game is not just for the guys, girls are welcome too! If you would like to come RSVP me an email detailing who is coming.
Here are the Details
$20 initial buy in ($3000 in chips). The blinds at start at $100/$200. The blinds will move up slowly and if you do run out of chips, you can buy back for $10 ($1500 in chips) or $20($3000 in chips). The buy backs are cut off at 1030pm. After 1100pm the blinds go up faster. Depending on how many people we have, two tables might be necessary.
The Prize money is highly dependant on the amount of people that attend and how many times they buy back. The average 1st place has been around $200 and up to $360. Not bad for 4-6 hours work. I do have 2nd and 3rd place winnings as well.
The first hand will be dealt at 730pm sharp. No waiting around.
When arriving at my place just knock on the window to the right of the front door. That is the amenities rooms and that is where we will all be. If no one is in there, ring the buzzer (#217)
The location is in Queensborough. Post up if you would like to join and I will PM you the location.
