Yesterday a young and respected friend of mine died in Trail B.C. He started work early Friday so he could help decorate for his sister's wedding that was to be today, on Saturday. I don't know what really happened but he was ahead of his parents on the Cominco hill. There is a curve at the top of the hill and he blew the curve and had a head on with a van. His parents were following and I can only imagine the horror they went through. His name was Clint Jollimore
I am 54 and ride a cbr1000rr. Clint was in his twenties on a hand me down 94 gsxr 750 with limited experience. At my age I go out and practice control and cornering and know there is always next year to reduce the size of my chicken strips.[ sensibility strips ] As fast as you get, Valentino will always be faster. Don't drink or smoke [or whatever you do] and ride. If you aren't in the right mind set , don't ride.

I hear you. RIP Rider.

This forum does have very good people. PM micheal he's an okanagan rider on here and a very good guy. I think a little more depth and breadth is neccesary. Ask micheal about the regulars on here. I hope your opinion can be swayed.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I feel for his family. From celebrating something as wonderful as a wedding to mourning a son has got to be tough.

Also I can see why you have the opinion you do about this forum.
Your right it can be that way sometimes.
Sometimes it's best just to visit the technical forum and for sale forum.

R.I.P rider. I just can't image the pain his family must of felt as they drove upon the scene. That is just terrible.
It's always sad to read these kind of posts, it makes me question myself if i should keep riding.
