You could just order the stuff to Letter Carrier and then declare. Then you end up doing it legally, paying some GST and no brokerage fees..

Why not just ride down, pick up the lid and jacket, and ride it across? They would not ask you if you were wearing it, as long as you do not have your old helmet and jacket with you. And for that, you could leave your old jacket and helmet at my parents 5th wheel in Birch Bay, then pick it up later!

thanx for your offer vrecksler, but i dont have a bike yet, so the riding down there option is out. i'm probably gonna end up driving over there n picking it up by car.
but what u suggested is a good idea for those who do ride.

customs will impound your vehicle if they find out your lying/catch you will illegal stuff, so if you have a nice car just declare it.
