Hey,what`s the deal with all those painted lines on #99 just east of highway 91 overpass?.It looks like there`s 3 or 4 dozen lines painted perpendicular to the road..............ken.

These wouldn't be the lines used by the planes to verify your speed?

No,these lines are all painted within 4 inches of one another,and there`s a bunch of `em..............ken.

If they are extra thick it might be our version of the "wake up" grooves they have in the US. Try driving on them and if your teeth rattle then that's what they are......... :D

You sure they aren't 'hahahahahaha any motorcycler slowing down here was obviously speeding so lets just kill em dead without remorse by forcing an accident!' lines?

I think they use those lines to measure the 'life' of the paint based on how much traffic goes over them. Just a guess.

testing different paints. they used to hang them on steel off the side of the port mann bridge to see how long they lasted in sunlight.
