That pic of Henk on his knees is great. Of course, it's not great that he crashed--one of the best guys anyone could hope to meet.

Great shots!

The first one is your best. But the ones of the fellow on his knees and the one of the rider enveloped in steam/smoke have a tremendous amount of emotion to them.

Ya Henk was great. not too sure if he knew something was amiss or if the ppl in turn 1 waved him off but not a drop of oil was on the track. I wish we had more riders like him.

Henk got taken out by another rider in turn 2. It was a racing (practice) accident and the other rider came over later and apolgized for what happend and henk took it in stride. His comment was something like "Hey thats racing! If you want to play it safe then play ping pong" or something like that.

This really describes it all. This is the first -But not the last- race i've seen in Mission. You guys are nuts but the commaraderie I saw all over the pit area was amazing. I love the emotion in the pictures frozen for all to see.
The poor guy put to his knees and he writes it off to the price of doing battle. This would seperate the men from the boys who need to blame it on someone else for taking them out. Hope you're okay Henk (sp?).
