Im feeling Jaybo's setup, duck feet all the way. I have been riding for about 8 years now, duck feet on the silence board and the nitro board, but i also have a Ride which i use for boardercross which basically has me pointing as much to the left side as i can control.

Need to get my hands on one of those new lib tech boards though, they sexy.

this years ride ex bindings
this years lib pacifier wide
last years vans bfb
and duck all the way! gotta go big angles though, otherwise i get nasty heel and toe drag; one of the many downsides of having size 14 boots.

Hmm i think I may go -5 on the back. How does it feel with a sub 0 degree stance on the rear?

pffft.... I dunno what my stance is, I guess it's goofy. Ooookay, I see the little numbers now. 26/9, is that weird?

I got really into it when I was 16, broke up with my boyfriend when I was 19, so combination of having no one to ride with and no money or time resulted in my board sitting in the closet for the last three winters. :(

feels good. When you stand your feet naturally "duck" out a little. putting your bindings out saves strain on the knees, and is a balanced setup for riding switch. but do whatever feels good for you. experiment and find what feels right it only takes a second.

it's more of a carving stance.

any skiiers turned boarders ever feel the knack to go back to skis?

I started out skiing as a kid then followed everyone into the snowboard bandwagon 6-7 years ago. Now I want to go back to skiing cause I'm sick of unstrapping at the bottom of the run and strapping up at the top.

One time, years ago, in the rentals area at Seymour someone had written on the wall "I know alot of people who used to ski, but I've never met anyone who used to board". Made sense then, still now IMO. The first time I grabbed a board, there was no looking back..ever.

buy clicker bindings or something..lol.

step in bindings are horrible. you get snow/ice build up inside, you'll be wastin time chiselling it out with a screw driver, not before you waste time FINDING one. conventional strap in bindings are the only way to go.

Yeah i got bought the burton motos and they suck, there good if you you live in like saskathewan and ride in fake snow, but there is an alternative. I swear by Flow bindings, the back flip down and you just put your foot it and lift the back up. Its great as you can take them on and off as you ride, I do alot of sessions on jumps and on the last one sometimes take my right foot out and pull a one footed method grab.
