When I was attending UBC I lived with a roommate from Japan. He was into cars due to the fact that his dad owned a dealership in Japan selling hot exotic cars from other parts of the world. He used to tell me about how he and his friends would 'race' around the Tokyo very late at night and when they passed a police car, they would not slow down 'cause the cops would not go after any cars that were doing more than 150 kph on the road. Besides, the cop cars could not keep up with he's or his buddy's hot cars.
However, if they pass a motorcycle cop, game over. They would pull over and wait for the ticket. No way would they try to out run a cop on a bike. Everyone had respect for cops on bikes.

Seeing that video makes sense that you would be stupid to out run a cop on a bike. Great riders...

Is that high pitched sound the gear driven cams? What model VFR's are these?

Yeah, if I had crash bars like that on my VFR, I'd be riding like that all the time!!

Those riders have skills, almost makes it look as if the bikes aren't nearly 500 lbs. wet.

Gotta love that sound. Similiar too the straight cut gears of rally cars.
