sliders are sliders. plastic (delrin seems to be the most common) are best because they take more of the brunt and obsorb impact better that the aluminum ones. i will be purchasing a set online, far cheaper than buying locally thats for sure

I got mine online (ebay) for around 20 bucks + shipping. Delrin ones - seem ok, although i've never used em. Way cheaper than the same ones at a dealer etc

Not sure what bike u have but for instance on the SV650 or SV1000 the best is sliders that use one bolt to go from each slider through the frame/motor instead of having a separate bolt for each slider. One guy learned the heard way and just bent the bolt hole back in the frame. Another had the whole slider pop off on a low speed tip over. So ebay is ok but I think it needs a little research to get the good stuff.
