Hey looking to purchase slome sliders off line have noticed that ebay offers some really good prices just curious about quality is there any out there that u guys would recomend or have purchased yourself
sliders are sliders. plastic (delrin seems to be the most common) are best because they take more of the brunt and obsorb impact better that the aluminum ones. i will be purchasing a set online, far cheaper than buying locally thats for sure
I got mine online (ebay) for around 20 bucks + shipping. Delrin ones - seem ok, although i've never used em. Way cheaper than the same ones at a dealer etc
Not sure what bike u have but for instance on the SV650 or SV1000 the best is sliders that use one bolt to go from each slider through the frame/motor instead of having a separate bolt for each slider. One guy learned the heard way and just bent the bolt hole back in the frame. Another had the whole slider pop off on a low speed tip over. So ebay is ok but I think it needs a little research to get the good stuff.
