I'm shopping for a newer bike and want to upgrade my security. I'm considering going with an anchor point mounted waist high on a concrete wall as my main defense. http://www.bikesax.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=OX-FA438&Category_Code=SEC-FLA

If it's on a wall and a heavy link chain's completely off the ground, there's no good work surface and it's a lot harder to leverage body weight or gravity for cutting/hammering the mount or the chain. This is also more user friendly than a brace since I can mount this at the front & back of my parking spot and move my bike depending on the season (if I'm driving or riding more often).

1) Anyone think the anchor thing's good enough as my mainstay?

2) I'd like to buy local. Any shops carry this stuff?
