OK you diehards!..its been raining for a few days, the bikes need a good washing and I figure its time to get ourselves out. I will be doing an afternoon ride from downtown (starbucks) to horseshoe bay ride (simple and fun) . I figure may as well try to take some riding time as much as possible. i know lots of you are from far away but if you can make it , it would be great. I say about 2 o'clock starbucks, from there to horseshoe bay..have a coffee or two ( to warm up if raining) then back the same route.
The lower side of West van is the way to go, and with the warm weather and cleaner roads it should be an easy and casual ride, just for fun!

I'm in... will have to wait till roughly 1pm to able to re-confirm it. Otherwise it's okay for me - rain or shine.

ps. just make sure we don't sit at Starbucks for 2 hours again :p

There will be about 6 of us who live on the North Shore out and around that area today, Horshoebay and to Porteau Cove most likely.

bugs & Xenz,

It was a great ride ...
Thanks for keeping it easy all the way for me.

I don't mind riding in the rain anymore ...
just need to figure out how to put a wiper on the hemlet.

It's fun riding in the rain; though it's wet, the tire still have a lot of grip. It's good to have a quick ride like this.
