I just left the house to take my fiance to work,
and traffic was abit worse than normal, due to 4+ police cars and having 1 lane blocked off of the connector from the arthur lang bridge to Russ Baker Way.

Upon returning I saw a Honda CBR dont know if it was a 600RR or a litre bike, but it was resting up against the cement barrier, and about 6 policemen on the scene.

hope that the rider is alive, and has a speedy recovery.

I also heard about about 5:30am what sounded like a car racing from a light southbound on Russ Baker Way and it sounded like just as he past the new firehall I heard a police siren turn on and give chase.

I was thinking about the condensation on the roadway this morning while I rode to work and I wonder if that bike lost it on the curve because of road conditions. Usually that's a nice sweeping turn but up on the bridge deck, it gets cold and slippery real quick.

I drove by it at 7:20am and the bike was still there propped up against the wall with one lane still blocked off. Usually a crash is cleaned up within an hour unless someone is seriously hurt or dead.

I saw the honda on the way to work this morning too. The bike was in an odd position though, it looks like it impacted the inside barrier of the turn, and the tire marks are also on the inside lane. I wonder how it got there as I would expect it to slide to the outside...

Glad you're okay. I figured that was probably what happened as I was looking at the slick road as I was riding by.
