It is a repost, but it needed to be posted again to remind all riders to gear up properly.

Something to think about when you think it's to hot to wear the gear , if it's to hot for you don't ride , it's dangerous enough with the gear .It can happen any place any time , my bro seen a guy on a cruiser bike get rear ended in down town mission 2-3 years ago , just sittin there at a light DOING nothing.

Is that legal? My buddy got a sweet undertail for his 929 and we joked about putting the licence plate on his jacket, it was too pretty to drill into.

I'm so sick of this god damned woman. How has awareness been raised any more than it was before? No it wasn't because of random people's experiances and lessons, or from sites like ogrish.com or lessons on bike websites. Awareness has been raised MUCH more thanks to the pretty lady. I've learned my lesson now. I just can't stand it when beautiful people get hurt. Their value is much more than a measly peon like me. If she's willing to contact me, I've got some foreskin that I can donate to the skin graft.

depending on how you interpret the road rules will depend on its legality. the only 2 issues i can see, and i've already taken care of one of them, are the plate lighting which is required(i got 2 magnetic LED's now) and the fact that when your parked it will have no plate which some PoPo might take as being a stolen bike or no insurance cause they can't readilly run a plate. either way it's permanent now and we'll have to wait and see what the ramafications may be. on the good side it is highly visible to anyone following.

Probably get away with it while he's riding as he is displaying his tags, but it is illegal while parked on a public street with no tags and valid insurance decals and if he's not sittin on it, it will probably be towed if a cop rolls up on it.

Glad to hear your walking and talking ,up and about .as far as i see it prepare for the worst , it can happen to any one any where . get the best gear you can aford and use it . younger riders go buy a 15 k bike and ride around at 200kmh. in t shirts and runners ,and you know what i talk to lots of people and they don't comment about the speed so much as they comment about some riders lack of gear and how stupid that is , i just say well they have'nt had it yet .i,m sure you heard/and know it, that it was a good thing you where geared up . Hope your feeling better soon and get your gixxer all together , be well .
