Weather seems fine for Sat., feel like riding those nice twisty roads in the area.

Route: Starting from S. Van., taking Marine Dr., going thru New Westminster, then Coquitlam, Port Moody, Belcarra. We stay in the area till we please, then move on to Maple Ridge and / or Mission.

Meeting time and spot: I'm showing up at around 1:45, and leave at 2, at Chevron on Marine and Main. Come with enough gas that you can run for at leat 100km. There's no gas station in Belcarra.

We'll stop in Port Moody and meet with tlax69 and other friends in the area at McDonald's on St. John's Rd. in Port Moody at 2:30 (or maybe a bit later than that).
Pace: Slow. 10-20km/h over the speed limit mostly. Newbs very welcome. Fast riders are welcome too, maybe they can sweep the speed traps?

if i can get over this flu by then and you can meet somewhere closer to belcarra for me as I live about 5 mins from belcarra let me know if you wanna stop byfor me
How about McDonald's on St. John's Rd. or Starbucks on Ioco Rd. at 2:45? I know that McD has a parking, but I'm not sure about Starbucks. If you're from the area, you must know a lot of nice roads to ride there, I guess?

there arent alot of good roads around here there are a few but not alot i would definetly say lets head to whistler a little earlier much better of a ride and no lights to have tostop at that is if you are up for it and cam still wants to go cause it is ten times better of a ride
For Belcarra, I'm thinking a few access roads for BC Hydro, and there's no lights there except a few stop signs. I usually stay there for a while and enjoy tight curves back and forth.

S2S isn't really my taste, I find their speed limit is set really low, not to metion too many speed traps. Lots of contstruction zone with 50km/h or otherwise only 80km/h. Too many cars on weekends. I don't find it fun there unless I overspeed, make illegal passings, and pissing off cagers. It's just not my style.

If I travel that distance, I'd definitely go to Mt. Baker instead. But I was in the US last weekend, so I'll keep it for some other time (No, I'm not going to store my bike).

well we could always head towards harriso. As for the thermal plant road yea it aint bad to short and i do it alot so cant really spendalot of time on it before i get bored
Where's Harriso?

Yea, we'll see how quickly we get bored, but we can always move on to Golden Ears in Maple Ridge and / or roads around Hayward Lake in Mission.

Where and at what time shall we meet?

i say between 2 and 3 at the big parking lot between the tim hortons and the eagle ridge pontiac car lot in the far coner that is beside the main road and the car lot under the power lines

Oh boy I do'nt know any of them. Can you give me the address so I can search on map? If it's not too far from McDonald's on St. John's Rd., I prefer there since I can get there without looking map. And at exactly what time?

sorry to anyone who showed up my buddy had a blow out on his bike and by the time iwas even able to get there it wasway to lateso i apologize if anyone showed up
Oh I see. It was funny that nobody showed up at both meeting spots. A friendly guy on a scooter (I guess around 250cc) showed up at McDo, I thought he was for the ride lol. I wanted to see how his scooter handles the curves, but he was actually there for food. I didn't see ANY sport/cruiser rider either in Belcarra.

The weather was ok, just really humid. Roads were nice and dry most part though. Maybe I'll do the same or Mt. Baker next weeked, stay tuned...
