Thanks for that confirmation. I was thinking the same thing after having had a bit to digest it and look it over again. I'll just keep the phone tucked away I think.*
Yes, you need to update FW 100%.I believe we can chalk the re pairing issue up to user error. I think one or the other of us unintentionally switched to Bluetooth which we aren't paired in and likewise have no intention of using. The volume thing is somewhat baffling to me still. Tonight we rode out and I was using the fm radio and despite having everything adjusted in the app and beyond that using the roller to adjust the volume to max and receiving the beep that max volume was achieved the radio was most definitely muted. Then about halfway through our ride it sprung up to proper volume.*
We do not have the latest firmware updated either. Gotta fire up a old rotting windows unit to do that I guess?*
I can't remember what they changed on the FW, but they did change the app, so:laughing
why bother, exactly? :devillook
I can't remember what they changed on the FW, but they did change the app, so
if someone tends to use that, probably makes sense to run the latest regardless.
It's an advanced system compared to old Senas I used.i was half joking, for obvious reasons. (at least you didnt get your ass handed to yah for suggesting it, never know around here :coffee)
but yes i'm not surprised it seems the latest bits on both sides were released when hardware was ready to go
but software dept still had some work to do. Features which were advertised at retail ad time were not exactly
enabled upon release. Its not unusual :thumbup
it sounds to me like they're two completely different technologies, blue-tooth vs mesh.
its great you can run MESH for Comm's and keep your media devices on bluetooth.
multitasking capabilities with personal devices takes up a lot on the bluetooth side
