yup, RMS carries alot of stock, but they are kinda pricey $$.

I've been buying my stuff online as well.. RMS wanted $1099CDN for my helmet, I got it to my door taxes, duty, everything for about $600CDN.. that's half price..

I'm all for keeping local shops around and giving them money, but holy shit is that a lot markup.

I do buy my oil from the Yamaha dealer, and I do buy some accessories from RMS though..

same, I'll buy the little things, like $50-$200 dollar items locally, but everything else is really pricey and you can easily save up to 40%-60% on stuff when buying online.

Wow, interesting. I was thinking about checking out what I need with size and everything locally and then see how much it would be online. But I wasn't sure If going on-line would've been the right way to go. But I guess it is.

What if you have no credit card? What other methods of payment do most on-line bike sites have?

Also, do you buy stuff just from within Canada? Or do you get stuff delivered from the U.S? How much do you pay at customs?

most places take money orders..... there are ways around customs if you have the means, we talked about it in a previous thread somewhere I believe. but duty is generally not too bad anyway....
