Does anyone else who has Sidi Vert's have squeaks in their boots? Mine are squeaking like crazy at the moment when i walk in them. Any way to reduce this?

I'd be more surprised if your Sidis didn't start squeaking. Very, very common problem.

My Sidi's squeak also! Thanks for bringing up the subject.
Luckily those boots are NOT made for walking, so you don't have to listen to them too long. Most comfortable boots I have had for riding though. Alpinestars a close second... :rockon

I just don't bother.

Its not like squeaking boots would attract more attention than walking around with a helmet and leathers.

i have the same problem on my oxtars... but honestly ... i like the squeek lol so i never get rid of it lol

+1 for silicone lubricant, don't use WD-40, its water-based and won't last. It could also dry out the leather on the boots.

Thats right, stick to Synthetic lubricant. None of that dino oil stuff. I prefer Repsol 5W30 myself.

FYI: Sidis boots are not made out of leather..not since the 70s. Lorica it is.

Yes, I know the perforated liner is made out of leather.

My vertigos have squeeked for years. Silicone spray works for me, but I don't bother since I don't do any walking with them.

chain lube (I've used the Maxima foaming kind) works brilliantly and lasts a huge amount of time.

Give 'em a good rubdown with some sex gel. Try "Oh My" or "Astrolube". You will never think of your boots the same way again.

Tri-flow will do it and you can use it on your chain to . lordco ,small can about 5-6 bucks . mine don't make noise

FYI, WD40 is not water-based (petroleum rather) and stands for Water Displacing compound #40

Sidi's are not ninja-approved. I tried to sneak into work late one day while wearing my Sidi B2s. Impossible to do.
