(updated!)So who is still out there, and who's with me?

**** UPDATE ***

This ride is ON.
the forecast is for sun/cloud tomorrow!!

11 AM
232nd St. and #1 Hwy Chevron
leave by 11:30 be there or be square

I'm hearing a lot of "the season is long over, you're nuts" talk, but I know it's not just me out on the road... post up and be counted!! Yes, it's not the summer, (where did my deep caramel squid-tan go??) but there's still lots of good riding to be had IMHO.

Annnndd, I know the weather can (and does) change pretty quick, but the forecast for this coming weekend looks pretty good to me :)

I will likely do a Harrison ride on at least one of those days, does this look as tempting to you all as it does to me?? Not to mention my bike is fixed (!!) and she may even have her fairings on and washed !!!

Not going to post any days/times just yet, I'll be riding one way or another unless its pouring, but let's see who's interested and how the weather goes for now...

I feel like a kid on christmas, no lie. I wasn't expecting many positive responses :)

Martina: you know there is a stretch of #7 calling our names...

Skiela: I love "a sure thing"!!! specially when we're talking about the softer sex.. there is a great sushi restaurant in Harrison that I love, does sushi qualify under the veggie guidelines?? mmmmmm tempura. mmmmm miso. mmmmm california roll... mmmm tekka

nevagirl: I used to think taking my work home with me and always being "on the clock" led to a fulfilling life ... but it ended up making me cynical and no fun to be around. Of course I can only speak for myself (and I can barely do that!) I'm around the other side of the pendulum swing nowadays, but I'm thinking the word of the day is.... work hard, play hard (!!!!) love to have you come out.

Skydive: I think there might be a ticket out there just waiting for you and I... and the fun will be in hunting it down!!! I will bring my radar :) not so much if its frosty though :/ Still, it's good to have goals and a dream...

(can everyone imagine me doing the Mr. Burns 'exxxcellllent smithers!' little sinister finger-dance??) that's how excited I am :)

:O Who are you calling soft!!? :p

Yes, of course sushi classifies under the veggie guidelines... since fish are just water breathing vegetables with eyes and fins...
ok ok it's a stretch, but I stretch it for the fishies.. especially raw ones. :D

I'm only wondering if my bike will be ready on time...and you all know how these deadlines work...I'm betting it won't be ready.

I'm starting up a new company at the moment so I'm working at home, round the clock and my deadlines are getting closer - feeling a bit stressed now.

However, my new bike should be ready so I might just have to take it for a maiden voyage!

Someone is going to have to teach me to do multiple quotes in one message. I seem to end up with none. Anyways...

Skiela: pardon me, did I say soft? I meant super duper hardcore :) HOW hardcore, you say?? :)

Martina: Here's hoping on the timing :)

Scorp, slowzuki: there might have to be two rides come out of this if the weather cooperates, one for friday and then one for sunday or saturday if the clear skies move around..

Shadow: you are welcome on whatever two wheels can get you there and back :)

Nevagirl: I feel safe in declaring this (technically unscheduled as yet) ride as a mandatory mental health event for your company :)

Cory

PS. Looking at the possible temps for sunday, we're talking thick layers and heated clothing if you've got it.

Ok as I figured the weather's shifted, Friday is going to suck and Sat. is going to be sunny, so far so good, but it could shift again with all this wind, let's cross our fingers and hope Sat. stays Sunny....
