Considering that this years SBW was a near disaster I am not surprised. A majority of the time I spent riding and drinking. The events were crap. The biggest memory I have of SBW was the BMW test ride. I still dream about it!!!

and honestly do we really need much more of a reason to go to the interior and party? I think not! Looking forward to next years!

Having never been to the event, its hard to comment. But it looks like an excellent time. Although there's a bad recipe brewing for disaster, drinking, riding, partying, a little peer pressure...not really a good mix.

i can't believe you just said that. evan is still enjoying all the party pictures i took, haven’t even seen them myself.
The party was a great time!!! Had a blast. The ONLY thing the beemer ride had over the party was the no drama factor. Other than that the party is a close second. Jess is still hounding me to delete the pictures! :p

It was a GREAT mix. Out of around 800 bikes that attended only 2-3 went down and no one was seriously hurt or killed. Of course some people did some stupid things but that is no different than any other party. The important thing was everyone had a great time, did some great riding, met new friends, but unfortunatley it was poorly organized. Which is why it was cancelled.

so you are right it is hard to comment to an event you have never been too.

not if people choose to do it. we have a yearly meet in the interior for my car club and it doesn't get canceled just because the organizers don't want to do it. others step up and get er done.

I'll step up and help , we helped out in the first years when there was only 40 bikes.

It's amazing how some people can't wait to spread bad news ? Must of been sexually abused by aliens or something and are now lashing back.

here here. it sounds like someone is looking for a sympathy post and a boohoo from the general public. an organized event isn't canceled unless the NAME is copy writted. other then that others just step up and help out. count me in Bill!!

if people chose to do something different then it would be something different. SBW is Owen's event. Perhaps you should contact him directly at Sportbikewest.com
