Did you change the oil prior to hibernation?vrecksler said:And really, how much of a tune-up is required? My bike went into storage near the end of November, and it was put to rest in excellent condition. Other than an oil change, I do not really see myself doing anything else for the new season.
It sounds like carb synching if it happens in summer and winter. Your bike should idle without wavering with the choke off.xenz said:Thanks everyone![]()
My bike for some reason, either in summer or winter, it need couple at least 2 to 3 start in order to get the engine running. And the engine just hestitate when under low RPM running. I thought they may look into this at the same time. Could it be the carb need sync ?
If you didn't ride too much during that month, then you might not even need to change the oil. Although as they say, you can't change it too often.vrecksler said:
Not right before. It had a scheduled check-up about one month before I took it off the road, and an oil change was done then. I do not have to worry about fogging carbs or any of that stuff, I am hoping I can just change the oil and go.
