is there any place locally that rebuilds stators and or quality aftermarket parts?
I need a 92 cbr 900 stator and rectifier, but $500 or more seem quite steep.
reccomondations would be helpfull thanks

try ebay. i havent been looking for any for your specific model, and being an older bike you may have a harder time. but i've seen a few stators and rectifiers for my bike.

Does it have to be the EXACT year and model?
Could another honda unit fit yours?

I might have a used one. But we get the aftermarket stuff. $180 and there better than stock. Same as the regulator aftermarket with cooling fins around $89. Why the hell do you guys keep going to the big dealers.
