How many of you actually remove and disconnect the battery before adding your low amp trickle charger?? I never did on my old 2 stroke but I don’t want to fry my new bike because of something that stupid.

Thanks

Its pretty hard to fry a battery with a low amp trickle charger, red = red and black = black as far as the connectors go. Just make sure you dont touch the red terminal connector to a bike part, lest sparks start to fly.

Don't worry about it man. I have quick connects coming off the the battery for no fuss charging. just plug in, been like that for years..4 and counting, same battery.

It's fine.

I like to pull mine out for the winter just so I can put them on the shelf in the basement where my trickle charger and lamp timer are located. But that's more for convienience than a requirement.
