who went riding today?
i froze my ass off.......
weather forecast said SUNNY in the afternoon:1up
and there was still snow on the ground by bluestone's house.
tons of salt too, my tires are all white now.

Yeah, picked upped alot of salt out in west van. gonna have to wash all that crap off tommorrow morning.

im gonna leave it on !!!
im too lazy and it gives the bike character

They say a clean bike is always faster than a dirty one.... :D

Salt will not do any damage to tires, but it will eat your aluminum like Roger Ebert tucking into a bag of popcorn. If you get salt on your ride, rinse it off with a hose when you get home. No need to wash it, just make sure you get the whole bike rinsed off. (I don't need to tell anyone not to get water in their ram-air snout or exhaust do I?)
