flyfishinwoman· West Koots, I'm here....
since this is a democratic bike forum. we should make it a majority vote. today Cory and i are gonna go ride, the ''other side'' of eagle mntn, and report back to you guys. i was there last week and it looks like a hella good time if yer getting bored of just doing the track, and the look out.Ok, Gilly first, then ride after! Where to Rog? Eagle again?
Hey, sounds like fun!! I'll have to see how Harold does on the lookout trail before we head over there though. I'm sure he'll be fine. What time do you figure that you'll be there?well Cory and i snooped around the other side of eagle mntn, and boy it was an experience:laughing . it had a little of everything. mud, rocks, trails that make you wonder. '' wtf am i doing here''.
Dean, theres this one trail that runs alongside the main road, and it would def give you a workout, all down hill, with mud, small hidden logs in the soil, and the odd creeks that cross the path. when we got to the bottom finally , i looked back up, and thought, '' no fokkin way we are gonna make it back up, without a shovel. thank god we could cross over at the bottom.
Janet, you and Harold will be fine on the other side as well, its very open, and if you do not like the conditions, there are other areas you can ride around on there. it will def push you more then the track, or the lookout, but very doable.
on the bright side only 5 members of the sleemans race team went down. seems like Cory wants to join:laughing .. see you guys tomorrow at the brunch.
well it depends on what time we drag our carcasses outta the gillnetter. between the eating and bs'ing i'd say we are up there at the gate by 12 to 12:30.Hey, sounds like fun!! I'll have to see how Harold does on the lookout trail before we head over there though. I'm sure he'll be fine. What time do you figure that you'll be there?
