I've been wanting to get a resonable priced up grade on my shock. A post on there says you can get the shock reworked from RaceTech for $300. Revalved, shimed and new spring for your weight. They say if you are a member from that site you will get a % 25 discount from RaceTech the shock would normally be $450 to rebuild. Seems quite resonable, not sure if that is in pounds instead of US or CDN dollars. I will have to check this out.

I've been a member there for almost two years now and even though I no longer own an SV1000, I still drop in occassionally to browse - they have a great membership - mature but not TOO mature ya know...

Check out the website by a member named Chewy, he offers some great mod's like the angle-can mod, rad guards, mirror spacers, etc...

+1 for this site. It's the best SV site around. TONS of useful info on there
