This being my first organised ride I was very pleased with the turn out:D (even though I know where I wanted to go but could take you there if I tried..we'd get lost!)
it was especially cool to see how organised we were on the highway and pulling out onto streets. being at the tail end of the group I was able to see how choreographed we were and it made me proud to be amongst ya all... I am definatly looking forward to the next ride
Thanks again!:D

DEFINATELY! It was a great ride! I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet all of you! Thanks again Bugs for organizing! (BTW you'll be seeing me soon so I can test that RC-51!... just kidding :D)

The organization of the group was definately TOPS! This was my first group ride, and I managed to make it through without incident (well, for the most part, I'm sure I must have pissed someone off with my (lack of) skillz :p ). I'm sure this can be totally attributed to the organization of this group. Special thanks go out to those who blocked traffic (Atom, I know you did this a lot). This is a tactic that I didn't know about until today, and it definately made things less hectic for the rest of us.

So the question now is, WHEN and WHERE do we do it again?! :D

Yes, it was also my first ride with you all (seems like a lot of first timers were out today) and it was an enjoyable day. It would have been nicer to try some roads with more turns, freeway riding tends to be a little boring, but once the salt is washed off the back roads I am sure we will get to those.

I was thoroughly impressed with the responsibility of the group as well, everyone was looking out for one another and it made it easier to relax--which was nice because riding with people who's riding skills are a complete mystery can be frustrating.

It was also nice seeing everyone's bikes, we had a great looking pack of bikes! Not enough Honda's for my liking, but there is always next time. ;)

.It was alot of fun guys and "gal":D . That was cool and yup, bugs is hooked on BCSB.....addict:) .

A few of the guys found that blocking traffic worked great for larger groups....I hope we didn't piss too many cages off. Although bugs put the fear of god into that lady in the minivan pushing her down the hill.

What was up with the minivan in Whiterock??? Dude gave me the finger:confused ...right back at you dude!

I'm really looking forward to hitting the hills when the roads clear up enough. Summer can't come soon enough.

Great ride everyone,

atom

BTW: Sorry, but I'm gonna have to move this to General:D :p

i am sure we ended up the topic of conversation, good and bad( the bad ones being from the ones who did'nt like us going single file on the side)But hopefully this blocking traffic to get us going shows people that we do have an organisation and we do this to protectourselves, not to show off and cause traffic!
And yes, its all your fault i am addicted to this, its interesting stuff, damn, its the forst thing I check when I wake up and the last when I go to bed.!:D

Sounds like you guys had an awesome ride, wish I could have made it out. I'll be in next time for sure.

Sounds like we're getting a good routine going.. I'd like to thank atomlowe (and everyone else thats picked up the habit of back marker and traffic blocking).. it sure does make things easier.

Jim.

hats off to atomlowe on making sure safety was also the important topic of our ride. Not to mention that he knows where to go...and how to get there. I am learning more about vancouver and its outer city limits than ever before...phwew!

The ride yesterday was alot of fun, sorry we had to leave after White Rock, Deltaport looked like fun. The group was well behaved and I think very safty oriented. I have ridden with large groups many times and I think everyone on Sunday did a good job of maintain position and speed.

I look forward to more rides with more twisties :D :D

Ya well organized for sure, and those high speed runs back along 99 were a nice way of blasting the cob webs out. I think after that I can consider my bike fully broken in..now I just need my first service.

Thanks bugs but you were a big part in promoting the safety of the group too. I would have to say that the group was great as a whole. Everyone was on the same page and acted responsibly. With a group that large, you really have to try to watch out for each other and I'm glad to see everyone was and it worked out.

BTW: Thanks to Rusty and Jamie for getting us out of Stanley Park and back up to the highway....thanks guys.
