Hope that you're alright.
Damn Alex that sucks, glad your OK and that your bike didn't take too much of a beating..I'll be putting frame sliders on this weekend... it's amazing eh! 115kmh airport loops last night and a 30k lowside today..damn.Lowsided my baby tonightSlow speed - only going around 30-40 when i went down. Coming south off Queensborough, the first long right corner i was behind a Lexus (one the "cheap" ones too). No traffic ahead of him for a while. He starts braking harder and harder so in the spirit of things so do it. Next thing wham ... front wheel says i want to be in the left lane while the rest of the bike disagrees. Down we go ... Worst thing is, as i'm picking up the bike (which is in the right 1/3 of the lane), people are fucking driving round me like i wasn't there. Props to guy behind me who stopped to make sure everything was ok - even stayed there til i started the bike and rode off. Cheers bud.
Only damage was to the frame slider ( :rockon ), and a small scratch on the fairing. Think i need a new pair of waterproofs as well :tredmill
That's for damn sure..:laughingThose were 115 kph cos i was taking it easy as well :laughing Rather drop at 30 than 115
K good....yup, i'm good, thanks
really you have to combine the cold roads grease oil gas and leafs on the road with the combination of any emergancy manover or even just stopping can cause a front tire to slip out. so if you are still riding at this time of year BE CAREFULdo u know the reason why you had fallen? it could be useful to people that are still riding now
was it becuz u suddenly braked? or weather conditions, etc.
