I should be up for one too. I'm starting to hear conflicting reports regarding break in, some people are telling me not to baby it as long as they recommend for fear of glazing the cylinder heads (i believe that's what it was) by not putting it through its full rev range. hmmm I'm at around 500km now so I'm a little unsure how fast I should go ;). Oh and you should just be able to keep up at highway speeds. I know my r6 in top gear runs pretty close to 100 at the recommended rpm. Mind you thats the speed limit... maybe not how fast we'll be going :D

yeah I've had it over 5000 a few times too but just for short stretches, I think I'll be nice to it until the 1000 mark, not sure after that (the bloody r6 manual says to keep it under 6000 for the first 1600 km!) :D
